Questionnaire Drafter for Confluence ("the app"), provided by Quordo ("we", "us"), is a Forge app that runs entirely on Atlassian's infrastructure. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
Our role
The app acts as a data processor on behalf of the customer (the organization that installs it), who remains the data controller of their Confluence content and questionnaire data. The app runs on Atlassian's Forge platform; Atlassian's own terms and privacy policy govern the underlying infrastructure.
Summary
The app does not send your data to any third party. It has no external servers.
All processing — searching your Confluence content, drafting answers with Atlassian-hosted AI, and storing your answer library — happens inside Atlassian's Forge platform, within your instance's data-residency boundary.
What the app accesses
- Confluence content you point it at (
read:page:confluence, search:confluence): to find and quote the pages relevant to each question. - Uploaded questionnaire files: parsed in your browser. The file's bytes are not uploaded to the app's backend; only the extracted question text is processed.
- App storage (
storage:app): to hold job results and your approved-answer library, inside Forge storage in your instance's region.
AI processing
Answer drafting uses Atlassian-hosted large language models via the Forge LLMs API. Question text and the relevant Confluence excerpts are sent to that Atlassian-operated service to generate a draft. No data is sent to any non-Atlassian AI provider or external endpoint. The app makes no outbound network calls outside Atlassian.
What the app does NOT do
- It does not transmit your data to the app developer or any external service.
- It does not sell, share, or use your data to train models.
- It does not retain copies of your data outside your Atlassian instance.
- It does not collect end-user personal data, analytics, or tracking.
Data retention & deletion
Job results and the answer library live in Forge app storage within your instance. Uninstalling the app removes its stored data per Atlassian's data-deletion process. To request deletion while the app remains installed, contact us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, noted on the app's Marketplace listing.
